TFF and Clubs Union Agree on New Refereeing Model Starting Week 20
Clubs Union President Ali Koç made statements on current topics, announcing that the Clubs Union has decided to become part of a new refereeing model.

Fenerbahçe and Clubs Union President Ali Koç gave noteworthy remarks following the meeting.
In his statement, Ali Koç said:
“Last week, we had a meeting in Riva. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) had proposed a model for refereeing. Today, we decided to reevaluate this among ourselves. The Central Referee Committee (MHK) President and President Mecnun returned and presented it again. As clubs, we have decided to be part of this roadmap. An Advisory Board will be established, and there will be representation from the clubs. The MHK President and TFF announced that implementation will begin from the 20th week. We need modernization in many areas. It’s evident that the refereeing institution has a chronic problem. Implementation may be postponed by a few more weeks. The most significant achievement of today is the decision to transition to the new structure we will adopt next year.”
“HACIOSMANOĞLU SHOWED COURAGE”
Ali Koç continued:
“Football clubs are the main actors in football. However, unfortunately, we have no say in matters concerning our interests. This could be the broadcasting rights tender, digital rights, or ticketing companies. Officially, we have no say, and our level of involvement depends on how much the current TFF includes us. The decision made by TFF President Mr. İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu is a very courageous one.”
