French Media: Fenerbahçe Makes Official Offer for Kevin Danso
Fenerbahçe has submitted an official offer to Lens for Kevin Danso. According to reports in the French press, Fenerbahçe has proposed €20 million for the 26-year-old center-back. It was also highlighted that Galatasaray is in the race for Danso.
One of Fenerbahçe’s primary targets in the winter transfer window is a center-back. Club president Ali Koç stated yesterday, “We urgently need two center-backs and a left-back.” In this context, Kevin Danso has emerged as a key target.
French outlet L’Equipe reported that Fenerbahçe made an official offer to Lens for Danso, with details indicating the bid amounts to €20 million.
The report also emphasized that Galatasaray is competing for the player.
Ali Koç, in his remarks on transfers yesterday, said:
“Some of our transfers may seem costly to you. What gives us this courage is the management team you see here. We have established a financially strong administration and have committed to covering any deviations in revenue.”
Lens signed Kevin Danso from Augsburg at the start of the 2021-22 season for €5.5 million.
The 26-year-old defender is under contract with the French club until 2027.
