Former Fenerbahçe player Nicolas Anelka attended Fenerbahçe Beko’s away game against Paris Basketball in France. After the match, Anelka spoke to Fenerbahçe’s media team, and his remarks about Galatasaray and the title race drew attention.

Anelka, who currently resides in Dubai, traveled to France to watch Fenerbahçe’s game. He expressed his joy, saying, “Watching Fenerbahçe always makes me happy. I follow Fenerbahçe in football as well, and today, in basketball too.”

Praising José Mourinho and Fenerbahçe’s performance, Anelka stated, “I think Fenerbahçe is playing well. You have a great coach. There will be a big battle between Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray.”

Hoping for more point losses from Galatasaray, the French former footballer added, “I saw that Galatasaray dropped points over the weekend. Hopefully, they lose more, and Fenerbahçe continues winning. Why not? Maybe they will be champions at the end of the season.”
