The Brazilian star shared a past dialogue with Mourinho with the press after retiring from football.

In his comments about Mourinho, Marcelo said, “Mourinho helped me become more aggressive. I always liked having the ball at my feet, but Mourinho told me that first, I needed to learn how to win the ball back. He taught me a lot during training. One time, he told me that I didn’t know how to defend, and he would teach me. He made me angry a few times, but after that, everything went very well and smoothly.”
