Official: Fenerbahçe Confirms Cengiz Ünder’s Loan Move to Los Angeles FC!
Fenerbahçe has officially announced that an agreement has been reached with MLS club Los Angeles FC for the loan transfer of Cengiz Ünder.
In a statement shared on the club’s social media accounts, Fenerbahçe confirmed that the Turkish winger will join Los Angeles FC on loan until July 1, 2025. The club also stated:
“Our club has reached a principle agreement with Los Angeles FC, a team in the United States’ MLS, for the loan transfer of our Professional Football A-Team player Cengiz Ünder until July 1, 2025.”
Additionally, the statement mentioned that Cengiz Ünder has been granted permission to travel for medical examinations and to finalize the transfer talks.
Los Angeles FC also confirmed the transfer on their official channels, announcing that the deal includes a purchase option.
Cengiz Ünder, who has featured in nine matches for Fenerbahçe this season, has not recorded any goals or assists.
Commenting on the transfer, Los Angeles FC executive John Thorrington stated:
“Cengiz has experience at the highest level of international competition. He is a top-quality player who has proven himself in the world’s best leagues, and his attacking abilities will contribute to our success in 2025.”
