New Upgrades Coming to Fenerbahçe’s Ülker Stadium: Lighting, Sound, and Seating Expansion
Fenerbahçe is preparing to launch three new projects at the Ülker Stadium Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex. The club's management plans to upgrade the lighting and sound systems and increase the capacity of the stands behind the goals.

Work on these changes at Fenerbahçe’s Ülker Stadium is ongoing.
According to a report in Hürriyet newspaper, after conducting preparatory work throughout the summer, the club will implement these projects in three phases.
The first step involves upgrading the lighting and sound systems, followed by increasing the capacity of the stands behind the goals.
Awaiting Approval for Stand Expansion
The report also mentioned that the lighting and sound system upgrades would be completed within two months. However, the club is waiting for approval to increase the stand capacity.
The new lighting system will feature modern LED and membrane technology. The changes to the stands behind the goals aim to increase capacity by 20%.
During the election period, Ali Koç commented on the planned stadium changes, stating, “We have three new projects. We will extend the panels on the roof of the stadium to ensure there is no air leakage, as air circulation is needed when there are no matches. These will be designed as retractable panels. We’ve also worked on our sound system, which will involve an investment of approximately 1.5 million euros. There are sponsors ready to support these initiatives, and we aim to complete them by September this season.”
