Fenerbahçe’s Fixture List Tightens After Galatasaray Cup Draw
Fenerbahçe, drawn against Galatasaray in the Ziraat Turkish Cup quarter-finals, is set for a challenging fixture schedule in April, featuring a series of crucial matches.
Battling Galatasaray for the Süper Lig title, Fenerbahçe now prepares to face their arch-rival in the Turkish Cup as well. The cup draw adds to an already demanding schedule for the Yellow Canaries.
On March 6 and March 13, Fenerbahçe will take on Rangers in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16. Following the second-leg match against the Scottish side, they will host Samsunspor in the league on March 16.
After the international break, Fenerbahçe will travel to face Bodrumspor.
In early April (April 1-2-3), they will host Galatasaray in the Turkish Cup quarter-finals.
Following the cup derby, Fenerbahçe will face Trabzonspor in the Süper Lig.
If they advance past Rangers, they will play Roma or Athletic Bilbao in the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals on April 10.
Should Fenerbahçe reach the last eight in the Europa League, they will travel to Sivasspor in the league after their first-leg match on April 10, before playing the second-leg quarter-final tie in midweek.
