Press Conference Highlights: Tadic Talks Lyon Match, Skriniar Transfer, and His Health

Fenerbahçe's experienced footballer and captain Dusan Tadic made statements ahead of the UEFA Europa League match against Lyon, also touching on the Milan Skriniar transfer.

Fenerbahçe star Dusan Tadic spoke to the broadcaster before the Lyon match.

Speaking about the tragic incident in Bolu, Tadic said, “We are deeply saddened by the losses caused by the fire in Bolu. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives. We are also sorry for their families. I extend my condolences to Turkey.”

Tadic acknowledged the difficulty of the Lyon match, stating, “Lyon is a strong and good team with quality players. It will be a tough match. We are Fenerbahçe. We need points. In front of our fans, our aim is victory. We respect our opponent, but we will give our best and show who is better.”

Addressing his recent illness, Tadic said, “It’s a normal situation. Many people have viruses; you can get sick. We are professionals and strive to play. I feel good right now. The three points from the Adana Demirspor match were important, but that’s behind us. Now our focus is on the Lyon match.”

Finally, Tadic commented on Fenerbahçe’s Milan Skriniar transfer, saying, “It’s fantastic news, a fantastic player. He will help us, no doubt about it. It’s one of the best and most significant signings the club has made. I’m very happy about this transfer.”
