Fenerbahçe’s Kostic, Saint-Maximin, and Tadic React to Disappointing Draw Against Samsunspor
In the 9th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Samsunspor and Fenerbahçe drew 2-2. After the match, Fenerbahçe's Dusan Tadic offered some self-criticism, saying: "What matters is the result. And the result is disappointing. Yes, Samsun is a tough team. They’ve gained good momentum, but a team at our level shouldn’t be conceding such goals."
In the 9th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Samsunspor and Fenerbahçe faced off. The goal duel ended in a 2-2 draw. Fenerbahçe climbed to 17 points in the league.
After the match, Fenerbahçe players Allan Saint-Maximin, Dusan Tadic, and Filip Kostic shared their thoughts on the game.
Saint-Maximin said: “There are many reasons for the dropped points, we are not happy. We showed character, did a good job throughout most of the game, and found the second goal. The second goal we conceded, though… We talked about how their goal would come from the wings. We shouldn’t have conceded that. It’s everyone’s mistake, including mine. We need to do much better so we don’t concede goals like this again. I scored, but I’m not happy.”

Filip Kostic commented: “We started the match well, but the result wasn’t good. There are areas we need to improve regarding this game. We must keep working. We have a match against Manchester United in a few days. We need to believe and keep working.”
