Mourinho After Kayserispor Win: “We Scored 6, but Could Have Scored 10!”
Fenerbahçe defeated Kayserispor 6-2 away in Week 13 of the Trendyol Süper Lig, and head coach Jose Mourinho shared his thoughts on the match.

Speaking about the game, Mourinho said, “We conceded goals due to turnovers during build-up play. One goal came from a poorly defended corner. While we scored six, we could have scored ten. That said, I consider this a good win because we played against a strong and positive team. They had about two weeks to prepare for this match, while we only had two days. So overall, it’s a victory I value highly.”
“THEY DELIVER WHEN GIVEN THE CHANCE”
Mourinho also commented on the performances of players who get limited playing time:
“It’s their responsibility to stay prepared, and they’ve been training very well. I have to give them credit. Sometimes I feel bad for the players I can’t give more minutes to, but when they do play, they respond in the best way possible. For example, Cenk Tosun and Rodrigo Becao were also on the bench today. Hard work is a principle we all share here. I also want to thank İrfan Can Kahveci, who wasn’t fully fit but told me, ‘Take me along; I can give you 10-15 minutes if needed.’ We didn’t need him in the end, but I appreciate the support he showed the team.”
TALISCA RESPONSE
When asked about transfer rumors surrounding Anderson Talisca, Mourinho responded, “I know nothing about it. The only thing I know is that I’m very happy with my players.”
