Ali Koç Press Conference: “Mourinho Should Stay, Regardless of What Happens”
Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç addressed recent criticism of head coach Jose Mourinho following the team’s dropped points in the championship race. Koç also offered a self-critique regarding previous coaching decisions.

“Our coach gave us a presentation yesterday, explaining his philosophy. He has a unique playing system.”
“Whether I stay or not, this coach should continue. He should also be here in his second year.”
Koç reflected on past criticisms of Aykut Kocaman:
“They used to say Aykut Kocaman was the worst coach, not offensive but defensive. That year, Fenerbahçe was the team that scored the most goals. Today, Fenerbahçe concedes the fewest goals, but we haven’t reached the level of dominance our fans expect.”
