Fenerbahçe executive Ahmet Ketenci’s call to the fans!

Ahmet Ketenci, a member of the Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, made statements regarding the events that took place in the Fenerbahçe – Karagümrük match during the 13th week of the Super League.

The official statement from Fenerbahçe’s website said:

“Dear Great Fans,

Throughout its 116-year history, Fenerbahçe has always earned its rights through hard work, sacrifice, and great struggles, standing united with its community as it pursues its goals. The team’s on-field battles with opponents and its off-field struggle for clean football and fair competition, as we all know, are part of our legacy.

In this season where the on-field action and issues are constantly taken beyond the pitch, and we are systematically subjected to attacks, our Yellow and Navy are once again in the spotlight. It is well known to the football public that gross mistakes have been made against us in our matches since the beginning of the season. In the last game we played, a 100% penalty for our opponent VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük was not given; on the contrary, our team’s 100% penalty was overlooked, an indisputable fact.

For the first time in one of our matches, we requested both the disclosure of VAR records related to the gross referee error in our favor and the replay of the match, despite there being no precedent for such a request. However, those who have taken advantage of gross and farcical referee errors that will not be forgotten by Turkish football fans for years, and who unjustly consider what they have gained as fair, once again took the stage without looking in the mirror.

Those who have not hesitated to start a fire with all the actors in the public, this time, are trying to create perception and manipulation based on just ONE situation.

Despite their numerous complaints about Turkish football, those who do not request the slightest sanction against the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) management or the Central Referee Board (MHK) in their statements, actually seem quite satisfied with the current situation.

We know that this is not just today but a game that is scripted every season, with changing actors and scenarios, always targeting Fenerbahçe. However, we want to emphasize once again that this season will not be like the seasons they have memorized and imposed on the public,

This season, Fenerbahçe Sports Club, together with its community, will fight with all its might to disrupt the game.
