Official: Fenerbahçe Calls for Foreign Referees in All Upcoming Games

Fenerbahçe has officially requested the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) to appoint foreign referees for their remaining matches in the Süper Lig.

FENERBAHÇE’S STATEMENT

“The appointment of a foreign refereeing team by the Turkish Football Federation for the derby match played on February 24, 2025, and their positive contribution to Turkish football has been widely acknowledged by the sports community.

The fact that some Süper Lig clubs have also requested the same referee for their matches, both before and after the game, is a clear indication of the validity of our previous demands.

For this reason, we officially submitted our request to the Turkish Football Federation on February 25, 2025, for all remaining matches of the 2024-2025 season to be officiated by foreign referees.

In this context, we welcome the requests of our opponents for our matches to be officiated by foreign referees and share this information with the public.”
