Fenerbahce hosted Alanyaspor in the 25th week of the Trendyol Super Lig. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, and the yellow-navy blues conceded the leadership to their arch-rival Galatasaray.
After the match, Fenerbahce's head coach Ismail Kartal made statements.
In his assessment, Ismail Kartal said: “We really wanted to win the match. We had control from the beginning to the end. My players were very eager. They came to our goal twice, and both times it resulted in a goal. Of course, we should have scored the 3rd and 4th goals. But we conceded the 2nd goal very early.”
ISMAIL KARTAL: “WE APOLOGIZE TO OUR FANS”
In his further remarks, the experienced coach stated: “We will look ahead. Ultimately, we really wanted to win, and we apologize to our fans for that.”
