Ismail Kartal: We should learn from this together!
Fenerbahçe's head coach Ismail Kartal, after their elimination from the match against Ankaragücü, stated, "We couldn't display the game as we wanted. We lost without being able to react in a way that has not happened at all this season. I talked with my players inside. We should all learn from this together."
In the quarter-final clash of the Ziraat Turkey Cup, Ankaragücü and Fenerbahçe battled it out, with Ankaragücü emerging as the side advancing to the semi-finals with a 3-0 victory.
After the match, Fenerbahçe’s head coach Ismail Kartal evaluated the game.
In his statement, Ismail Kartal said, “We came here with ambition. If we had capitalized on the chance we found with Cengiz at the beginning of the match, it would have been different. We couldn’t play the game as we wanted. We lost without showing a reaction, which hasn’t happened this season. I talked with my players inside. We should all learn from this together. In the end, we lost.”

COMMENT ON THE GALATASARAY MATCH
Ismail Kartal commented, “Everyone knows what happened in the match yesterday. What can I say about it? We leave it to the public’s judgment. When we win a penalty, everyone stands up. However, there were penalties not given to us in the same match.”
