After Fenerbahçe defeated Pendikspor 4-1 in the 29th week of the Super League, Mert Hakan Yandaş made statements criticizing referee Kadir Sağlam. Mert Hakan Yandaş said, "The first half lasted for 15-20 minutes. I've never seen anything like this in my life; every time the goalkeeper took a goal kick from the right, he walked to the left. They allow it, and I don't understand why they allow it."
