İsmail Yüksek Injury Update: Ankle Ligament Rupture!
Fenerbahçe announced that a rupture in İsmail Yüksek's ankle ligament, sustained during the derby match against Beşiktaş in the Süper Lig, has been detected.
Fenerbahçe released a statement regarding the health condition of İsmail Yüksek, who was injured in the derby against Beşiktaş in the 34th week of the Süper Lig.
The statement indicated that a rupture in İsmail Yüksek’s ankle ligament had been detected.
In the post shared by the yellow-navy club, it was stated, “Our player İsmail Yüksek, who suffered an ankle sprain and had to leave the game during the derby match we played with Beşiktaş last night, underwent an MRI examination at Acıbadem Sağlık Altunizade Hospital. Following the evaluation, treatment has immediately commenced for our player, whose ankle ligament rupture has been diagnosed. We extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery to our young footballer.”
WHAT HAPPENED?
İsmail Yüksek got injured in the first half of the derby while passing to his teammate.
Unable to continue the match, the 25-year-old player was substituted in the 19th minute, with Rade Krunic taking his place.
