Ali Koç Criticizes Aziz Yıldırım’s Jose Mourinho Proposal Before Crucial Derby
Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç responded to presidential candidate Aziz Yıldırım's remarks about Jose Mourinho.
During a press conference held at the Faruk Ilgaz Facilities, Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç made statements regarding the world-renowned Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
“BRINGING UP MOURINHO BEFORE THE DERBY WAS UNFORTUNATE”
Ali Koç expressed his disapproval of Aziz Yıldırım‘s announcement that he would hire Mourinho if elected, stating, “We are entering the final week with a chance at the championship. This is not the time to discuss such matters. Bringing up Mourinho before the derby was very unfortunate.”
“WE’LL SEE IF WE CAN SIT AND DISCUSS”
When asked about Yıldırım’s call regarding Mourinho, Koç replied, “He suggests making an investment of approximately 45 million Euros over two years together. Before considering a joint investment, we need to see if we can sit down and discuss it like civilized people.”
