Ali Koç Re-Elected as President of the Clubs Union
The meeting to elect the new president of the Clubs Union Foundation has concluded. Ali Koç has been re-elected as president.
Ali Koç has once again been chosen as the president of the Clubs Union Foundation.
After the meeting, Ali Koç stated, “All clubs unanimously wanted President Hasan, but due to his recent appointment and the fact that their regular election will be at the end of the upcoming season, he requested to step down.”
New Foreign Player Rule
Ali Koç also addressed the new foreign player rule, saying, “The rule creates a disadvantage for clubs that have structured their transfer policies and strategies around 12 foreign players, and we are among them. However, what matters here is the benefit for all of us. When this rule is implemented, our bargaining power for departing players will decrease. This will provide some relief.”

Adana Demirspor Club President Murat Sancak also made a statement, saying, “We have 8 board members along with Ali Koç: Murat Sancak, Murat Özkaya, İbrahim Turgut, Mehmet Fatih Saraç, Sinan Boztepe, Mehmet Sepil, Yüksel Yıldırım, and Göksel Gümüşdağ. Congratulations to all.”
