Referees Announced for Fenerbahçe vs. Lille Champions League Qualifiers
Istvan Kovacs will officiate Fenerbahçe's away match against Lille in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, while Jose Maria Sanchez will oversee the home match.
After eliminating Lugano in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round, Fenerbahçe advanced to the next round.
Fenerbahçe will face French Ligue 1 team Lille in the Champions League third qualifying round.
Before these matches, UEFA announced the referees who will officiate the Fenerbahçe-Lille fixtures.
According to UEFA’s statement, Istvan Kovacs will referee Fenerbahçe’s away match against Lille, and Jose Maria Sanchez will officiate the home match.
In the first match, Istvan Kovacs will be assisted by Mihai Marica and George Florin Neacsu. Horatiu Feşnic will serve as the fourth official, with Christian Dingert from Germany as the VAR and Johann Pfeifer, also from Germany, as the AVAR.
When Are the Fenerbahçe vs. Lille Matches?
Fenerbahçe will play the first leg of the Champions League third qualifying round away on August 6.
The return match will take place in Istanbul on August 13.
If Fenerbahçe advances from this round, they will move on to the play-off round. The draw for the play-off round will be held on August 5.
