En-Nesyri and Tadic Reflect on Draw: ‘We Needed to Do Better’
After Fenerbahçe's 2-2 draw with Göztepe in the 2nd week of the Trendyol Super League, Youssef En-Nesyri and Dusan Tadic shared their thoughts on the match.
Youssef En-Nesyri commented on the game, saying, “I am happy that I scored a goal, but the result of the match was not favorable for us. What we need to do now is to look forward, continue our work, and give our fans the victory they deserve.”
Dusan Tadic added, “Honestly, at halftime, we discussed that a 2-0 lead is a dangerous score. We needed to find the third goal to secure our position. The two goals we conceded were simple ones. Göztepe managed to stay in the game, and we are to blame for that. It shouldn’t have been like this. We needed to show more character and personality. We need to do better.”
Tadic also mentioned, “From my perspective, there is no difference. I can play as a left winger, right winger, or number 10. The most important thing is Fenerbahçe. Success before personal positions is what matters.”
