Leonardo Bonucci Reflects on Fenerbahçe Memories: “A Big and Important Club”
Former Fenerbahçe footballer Leonardo Bonucci mentioned that he had wonderful days at the yellow-navy blue club.
Bonucci spoke about Fenerbahçe‘s coach Jose Mourinho, saying, “Mourinho‘s appointment and his experience can bring a lot to Fenerbahçe. I hope this year will be a good one for them, and they will become champions.”
After retiring from football following last season, Leonardo Bonucci made statements about his former club Fenerbahçe and their coach Jose Mourinho.
Speaking to TRT Spor, Leonardo Bonucci said that after his retirement, he feels good and wants to pursue a coaching career.
Bonucci reflected on his time at Fenerbahçe, saying, “Fenerbahçe is a huge and important club. I had a great time there. Fenerbahçe has a very passionate fan base. They were truly amazing, and I will never forget the love they showed me.”
Regarding Fenerbahçe’s current coach Jose Mourinho, Bonucci added, “Mourinho’s appointment and his experience can contribute greatly to Fenerbahçe. I hope this will be a successful year for them, and they will win the championship. I love Istanbul and hope to visit again soon to see my friends there.”
