Manchester United’s Antony Reflects on Mourinho and Fenerbahçe Encounter
Antony of Manchester United stated that they are preparing for a tough match against Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Europa League. The Brazilian player praised his former teammates Fred and Tadic and had this to say about Jose Mourinho: "Jose Mourinho is a great coach and deserves respect. He has worked at great clubs, and Fenerbahçe is one of them."
In the 3rd week of the UEFA Europa League, Fenerbahçe will host Manchester United tomorrow.
Before the match, Antony shared his thoughts with the club’s TV channel.
The Brazilian player had this to say about his former teammates Fred and Dusan Tadic: “Fred is a very good player and a great person. I will have the chance to speak with him, as well as with Tadic, whom I played with before. They are great players, and I have a lot of respect for them.”
Regarding the upcoming match, Antony said, “We need to focus on our own game and what we’ve worked on in training. Otherwise, we won’t be able to execute what we want in the match.”
Antony played with Fred at Manchester United and with Dusan Tadic at Ajax.
