Ahead of the match, Fenerbahçe player Sofyan Amrabat and Fenerbahçe coach Zeki Murat Göle shared their thoughts.
Sofyan Amrabat stated, “It will be a tough match. AZ is a good team, but so are we. Hopefully, we’ll play the game that wins us the match and take the 3 points.”
Zeki Murat Göle commented, “AZ started the league and European competitions well, but they’ve been going through a challenging period since October. They’ll be looking to make a comeback against us. We put on a good fight against Trabzon over the weekend. AZ’s philosophy is about keeping possession, but they have a weakness: if the opposing team has more possession, their game starts to break down.”
