Djiku and Tadic Express Frustration After Derby Defeat
Fenerbahçe players Alexander Djiku and Dusan Tadic expressed their disappointment following the 1-0 loss to Beşiktaş in the derby. Djiku remarked, “The best team on the pitch did not win today.” Tadic, on the other hand, said, “Such a loss is a disappointment for us.”
In the 15th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe suffered a 1-0 defeat in their away match against Beşiktaş.
After the match, Djiku and Tadic shared their thoughts on the game.
“IT WASN’T THE RESULT WE WANTED”
Commenting on the Beşiktaş derby, Djiku said: “Looking at the flow of the match, we are disappointed. It’s frustrating for us. The best team on the field didn’t win today. It wasn’t the result we wanted. We’re leaving the pitch with a loss, and we’re saddened by the outcome.”
Djiku also added, “I wasn’t part of the squad in the last Gaziantep FK match. We didn’t want to take any risks, but today I was able to return to the field.”
“A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR US”
Dusan Tadic commented on the match, saying: “We know the atmosphere here; last year, we won in this stadium. Unfortunately, we didn’t achieve the result we wanted this time. There were moments we played well and moments we didn’t. Such a loss is a disappointment for us. There are still many matches ahead of us.”
He concluded his remarks by stating, “We have a Europa League match to play. We need to keep winning in the matches ahead. The match on Wednesday is close, and that’s a good thing. We need to win that match and continue on our path.”
