Turkish Cup Draw Completed, Fenerbahçe’s Participation in Question
The draw for the group stage matches of the Ziraat Turkish Cup has been conducted. The draw took place at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities, with the participation of club representatives.
The group draw phase of the Turkish Cup has been completed. After determining the 24 teams that advanced to the group stage, the draw was held. According to the new format, the 24 teams are ranked based on league and performance standings and divided into three pots. The draw took place at the Orhan Saka Conference Hall.
MECNUN OTYAKMAZ’S STATEMENT ON FENERBAHÇE
Before the draw, Mecnun Otyakmaz made a statement regarding Fenerbahçe, whose participation in the Turkish Cup had not yet been finalized. Otyakmaz said, “We are also opening a parenthesis for Fenerbahçe here; as we have not yet received an official board decision, we are proceeding with the draw as routine.”
