UEFA Assigns Italian Referee for Fenerbahçe vs. Lyon Showdown
Italian referee Simone Sozza will officiate the UEFA Europa League clash between Fenerbahçe and Lyon.
In the 7th week of the UEFA Europa League, Fenerbahçe will host French side Olympique Lyon on Thursday, January 23. UEFA has announced the referee appointments for the match.
ITALIAN REFEREE FOR FENERBAHÇE
According to UEFA’s statement, the match will be officiated by Italian referee Simone Sozza. He will be assisted by Alberto Tegoni and Giorgio Peretti.
The fourth official for the game will also be from the Italian Football Federation, Matteo Marchetti.
In the VAR booth, Paolo Mazzoleni will take charge, with Daniele Doveri serving as the AVAR.
