Mourinho Criticizes Saint-Maximin: “Not Training Properly, Not Fit to Play”
After Fenerbahçe’s match against Samsunspor in the Trendyol Süper Lig, head coach Jose Mourinho spoke harshly about Allan Saint-Maximin.

In the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe drew 0-0 at home against Reeder Samsunspor.
Fenerbahçe head coach Jose Mourinho made statements during the press conference, delivering sharp criticism towards Saint-Maximin.
“Saint-Maximin has had plenty of chances this season. There hasn’t been a single time in the last three months where he trained four days in a row. Not once. So I can never say otherwise about him. The people working with him illegally shared internal data with you, and I believe this was manipulated data. On March 10, before the Rangers match, we had a tactical training session. In that session, I covered more distance than anyone else. More than all the players. The purpose of that session was purely educational.”
“It was a low-intensity session aimed at teaching positional play to the players. Yet, I was the one who covered the most distance. On the same day, Maximin did individual work. Naturally, because of that, he showed a higher workload in the data.”
“The people he works with sharing this internal information with you is illegal. This is manipulation. He is not in a condition to play. He can share whatever picture he wants. He can even Photoshop it and add abs if he likes. But the reality is, he is not training properly. Without consistent training, he won’t be in a position to play.”
