Fenerbahçe Head Coach Jose Mourinho Speaks Ahead of Kasımpaşa Match

“WE ARE FACING ISSUES RIGHT NOW”

Responding to a question about whether he sees it as an advantage that many players are taking on responsibilities in different positions this season compared to last, Mourinho said:

“It becomes an advantage for us, especially in certain phases of the season. Sometimes, all players are available, but there are times when you face issues. Right now, we are facing issues. In such situations, you need to be creative, and the players need to be willing. This applies to us as well. Fortunately, they are capable of adapting.”

“THEY HAVE PLAYERS WHO CAN BE DANGEROUS”

Continuing his statement, the Portuguese coach added:

“We need to see how Kasımpaşa wants to play today. They might make changes, but that won’t alter their quality, potential, or high-tempo play. They have talented players. We want to dominate the game, but they also have players who can be dangerous on fast counterattacks, so we need to be cautious.”

YUSUF: “I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT WITH MY COACH”

Fenerbahçe’s young defender Yusuf Akçiçek also spoke ahead of the match:

“First of all, it’s a tough game. We are up against a strong opponent, but our goal is to secure three points with the support of our fans and good football.
