Fenerbahçe Interested in 17-Year-Old Eser Gürbüz, Managed by Van Persie
Fenerbahçe sold Ferdi Kadıoğlu, whom they signed from Dutch side Nijmegen in 2018, to Brighton for €30 million last summer. Now, the yellow-navy club has reportedly set its sights on another Dutch player who could potentially boost the club’s finances.

During the winter transfer window, Fenerbahçe bolstered their squad with star signings, and it has been claimed that they are now interested in 17-year-old Eser Gürbüz.
According to a report in Fanatik, Fenerbahçe’s management has been closely monitoring the Heerenveen player and has identified him as a potential transfer target.
Eser Gürbüz, who is capable of playing on both wings, has been making a name for himself in recent weeks. On February 1, in a match against Fortuna, he came off the bench to score a goal. In the recent match against Twente, he entered the game in the 73rd minute and scored an equalizer in the 90+3′ minute.
Fenerbahçe, who signed Ferdi Kadıoğlu from Nijmegen in 2018 and sold him to Brighton for €30 million last summer, is reportedly seeing similar potential in Eser Gürbüz.
Interestingly, Eser Gürbüz’s manager is none other than Robin van Persie, who played for Fenerbahçe from 2015 to 2018.
