Injury Blow for Fenerbahçe: Oosterwolde and Cengiz Ünder Diagnosed with Major Issues
Fenerbahçe has released a statement regarding the injury status of Cengiz Ünder and Jayden Oosterwolde.
In the statement, it was revealed that Cengiz Ünder has suffered a partial tear in the tendon junction of his right groin muscle, while Jayden Oosterwolde has been diagnosed with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture in his left knee.
The statement from Fenerbahçe reads, “Following the injuries sustained by players from our Professional Football A Team, MRI scans have confirmed that Cengiz Ünder has a partial tear in the tendon junction of his right groin muscle, and Jayden Oosterwolde has suffered an anterior cruciate ligament rupture in his left knee.”
Cengiz Ünder is expected to be sidelined for approximately one month.
