Fenerbahçe will take on Galatasaray for the 16th time at RAMS Park in Matchweek 25 of the Trendyol Süper Lig on Monday, February 24.
Opened with a friendly match against Dutch side Ajax on January 15, 2011, Seyrantepe has hosted 15 Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derbies, including one in the Süper Final.
Fenerbahçe has avoided defeat in 10 of these 15 matches. Both teams have won five times each, while five matches ended in draws.
Fenerbahçe Won the First Derby at RAMS Park
The first-ever derby played at RAMS Park ended in Fenerbahçe’s favor.
On March 18, 2011, Fenerbahçe secured a 2-1 victory at Seyrantepe. Semih Şentürk and Alex de Souza scored for the Yellow-Navy Blues, while Colin Kazım-Richards netted Galatasaray’s only goal.
This match also marked Galatasaray’s first-ever defeat at their new home, RAMS Park.
