Statement was targeting to the unfortunate incident happened tonight right after the match between Ankaragucu and Caykur Rizespor.
WHAT HAPPENED IS UNACCEPTABLE
We followed with astonishment, shock, and sorrow the attack against referee Halil Umut Meler in tonight’s Ankaragücü-Rizespor match.
We extend our get-well-soon wishes to Halil Umut Meler.
We strongly condemn all individuals who bear responsibility for this incident and display such an attitude.
For this incident that does not befit our country and Turkish football, we invite all stakeholders of Turkish football, as well as all responsible individuals and institutions, to act together.
