Vitor Pereira, the former head coach of Fenerbahçe, shared his thoughts on the Fenerbahçe-Galatasaray derby scheduled for tomorrow in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Speaking to Fanatik newspaper, Vitor Pereira, who served two terms at Fenerbahçe, commented on the Fenerbahçe vs. Galatasaray derby in the 18th week of the Turkish Süper Lig.

Pereira stated that the derby is at a level that will determine the championship. “The winner will seize the psychological advantage. This derby will determine who will reach a happy ending at the end of the season,” he said.

Discussing the impact Edin Dzeko and Mauro Icardi will have on the derby, Vitor Pereira said, “We are talking about top-level players. This could be a club in Turkey or another country. Of course, I need to have the right conditions for a strong team. My goal is to create a team consisting of a mix of experienced and young players, competing for championships and participating in the Europa League or the Champions League. I will forever respect Fenerbahçe. However, I am also a professional head coach. If I become the coach of a club, that club will naturally become my family and life. In life, we need to be like this and respect our past.” He concluded his words.
