Bright Osayi-Samuel Looks Ahead to Trabzonspor Match
Fenerbahçe hosted Union Saint-Gilloise in Istanbul in the UEFA Conference League Round of 16. Despite losing 1-0 at home, Fenerbahçe, who won the first leg 3-0, advanced to the quarter-finals. Fenerbahçe's Nigerian footballer Bright Osayi-Samuel made statements after the match.
Bright Osayi-Samuel said he wasn’t pleased with the game but expressed happiness for advancing to the next round.
“We wanted to win today. We achieved our goal. It’s important that we continue in the tournament. Now we’ll focus on the Trabzonspor match. We want to win the Conference League. We’re taking it one game at a time. We also want to be champions in the league. After the Trabzonspor match, we’ll focus on the next one.”
