Shameful Decision from Turkish Football Federation: Super Cup Match Not Postponed!
The TFF did not change the date of the Super Cup match to be played between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. In the statement made, it was announced that the Super Cup will be played on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 21:30 at Şanlıurfa 11 Nisan Stadium.

SUPER CUP STATEMENT FROM TFF
In the statement made by the TFF regarding the date of the Super Cup match, it was stated, “The 2023 Turkcell Super Cup match, between the clubs Galatasaray A.Ş., the champion of the 2022-2023 Super Lig season, and Fenerbahçe A.Ş., the champion of the 2022-2023 Ziraat Turkey Cup season, will be played on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 21:30 at Şanlıurfa 11 Nisan Stadium, as previously announced on February 21, 2024.”
FENERBAHÇE HAD APPLIED
Fenerbahçe Club had applied to the TFF for the postponement of the Super Cup due to their UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final match against Olympiacos of Greece on April 11.
OLYMPIACOS’ MATCH POSTPONED BY THE GREEK FEDERATION!
On the other hand, the Greek Football Federation postponed the PAOK vs. Olympiacos match, scheduled for April 14, Sunday, in the UEFA Conference League, in which Olympiacos, which will face Fenerbahçe, is participating. PAOK, also competing in the UEFA Europa Conference League, had been paired with Club Brugge in the quarter-finals.
POSTPONED IN FRANCE TOO
The management of the French Ligue 1 also decided to postpone the league matches of the 3 clubs that reached the quarter-finals in European cups. According to the decision, the 29th round matches in which Paris Saint Germain, Marseille, and Lille would participate in Ligue 1 were postponed.
