Fenerbahçe's experienced players Dusan Tadic and Fred made statements following their victory over Galatasaray.

Dusan Tadic said:
“In my opinion, we showed tremendous character. Before the match, we talked about always sticking together. We would continue fighting in the match without giving up.

Before the red card, we were better than Galatasaray. After the red card, the situation changed a bit. We had to act more intelligently and cleverly. We helped each other well. We showed great character. We made our fans very happy.
Honestly, the atmosphere inside was fantastic because we prepare for every derby with high concentration. Before the match, we said our hearts should be warm but our heads and minds should be cool. This match was of great importance for both them and us. It was almost a matter of life for them.
When the opponent had the ball, we needed to be aggressive and fierce, but when we had the ball, we needed to stay calm for the best option. We deserved the 3 points. It was a great victory.”

“I am very happy for the win. When you are down a player, you have to fight twice as hard. You have to give everything on the field. We knew we would win the match and score the goal. We are happy to have won.
