In the match played at Merkur Arena, coach Jose Mourinho fielded the starting eleven consisting of Livakovic, Osayi-Samuel, Becao, Djiku, Levent Mercan, Krunic, Fred, Bartuğ Elmaz, Cengiz Ünder, Kent, and Dzeko.

On the Hajduk Split side, coach Gennaro Gattuso chose the starting eleven of Lucic, Moufi, Sarlija, Uremkovic, Diallo, Jurak, Capan, Kalik, Dolonga, Pukstas, and Livaja.

In the first half, while Fenerbahçe could not capitalize on the opportunities with Dzeko and Krunic, the opponent’s aggressive play was notable, and the teams went to the locker rooms with a goalless draw.

Coach Mourinho started the second half with two substitutions. Goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic was replaced by İrfan Can Eğribayat, and Yusuf Akçiçek came in for Levent Mercan.

In the second qualifying round of the Champions League, the yellow-dark blue team will face Lugano. Fenerbahçe will play the first match away on July 23, and the return match will be played on July 30.
