Fenerbahçe’s Tadic Analyzes Alanyaspor Match: “Not an Easy Game, but We Made It Easier”

Dusan Tadic, who scored twice in Fenerbahçe‘s 3-0 victory against Alanyaspor, made statements after the match. Tadic mentioned that the credit for his second goal, which was a chipped shot, largely goes to Fenerbahçe’s goalkeeping coach, Sandro Zufic.

Fenerbahçe defeated Corendon Alanyaspor 3-0 in the 4th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig. After the match, Dusan Tadic, who scored two goals, evaluated the victory.

“OUR COACH SAID WE COULD HAVE SCORED MORE GOALS IN THE FIRST HALF”

“I congratulate all of Turkey on Victory Day because we know very well that today is a very important day for the Turkish people. It wasn’t an easy match. Our opponents also played a good game. They tried to play football on the field. In the second half, they also created some chances. For us, finding the second goal was really important. After that, the game became easier. Defensively, we did a good job today. We put a lot of pressure on and did not give our opponents space or opportunities. Our coach told us that we could have scored more goals in the first half. These are things we will work on and improve. We want to continue in a good way.”

“We need to give credit to our goalkeeping coach, Sandro, because he provided very good information about the opposing goalkeeper. Frankly, he mentioned it before the match, and I saw it in the videos as well. He told me that the goalkeeper tends to come off his line. In that situation, I chose to go for a chipped shot. It was already on my mind, and when I faced the goalkeeper, I decided to try such a shot, and it worked out. Both our goalkeeping coach and the entire technical staff deserve credit because they try to prepare us for the matches in the best way possible and provide us with the most accurate information about the opponent.”
