Filip Kostic, who joined Fenerbahçe on loan from Juventus, spoke to the club channel FBTV. Here are Kostic’s statements:
“I want to say that I am very happy to be here. I am very excited and can’t wait to train with my teammates. Honestly, I wanted to come to Fenerbahçe from day one. The presence of Dusan Tadic and Jose Mourinho here was one of the important reasons for me.
Tadic is one of my best friends; we have been together in the national team for a long time, so I am really very happy to play with him again at Fenerbahçe.
It will be a great pleasure and satisfaction for me to work with Jose Mourinho. He is one of the best coaches in the world. I hope we can achieve something together. I will do my best. I will do everything I can for the club and the fans.
I was very unlucky when I played in Groningen; honestly, I couldn’t play. It was really difficult to replace Tadic and take his place. Of course, I will give my best. I can say that Dusan Tadic is the best player, and I have always wanted to play with him. We have already been together in the national team for several years, so coming together again at the club level really makes me very happy.
