Rodrigo Becao Defends Mourinho’s System: “He Wants to Play Attacking Football”
Fenerbahçe's Brazilian defender Rodrigo Becao made statements to the Italian press following the Twente match.
The Brazilian defender spoke about Mourinho‘s system and left the door open for a potential return to Serie A.
Speaking to gianlucadimarzio.com after the Twente match, Rodrigo Becao shared his thoughts on Mourinho and his future. Here are his comments:
“Mourinho emphasizes attacking football, he wants to play. Of course, we also try to defend well.
The important thing is not to concede, and then to score. Unfortunately, we conceded a goal against Twente, but we are moving forward. I think we did a good job.
I don’t agree with those who say Mourinho only focuses on defense and counter-attacks.
Italy has taught me a lot. I can only thank Italy for the defender I am today.
One day, I would really like to return to Italy, where I had a great time and left many friends.
I miss the people and the Italian public. Let’s see, will I return one day or not?”
