Major Stadium Sponsorship Changes Ahead as Fenerbahçe Partners with Global Agencies
Fenerbahçe Club's General Secretary Burak Kızılhan made notable statements regarding stadium naming rights sponsorship at the high council meeting. Kızılhan said, “We have partnered with four major global agencies for the new era’s stadium naming sponsorship.”
The Fenerbahçe High Council Meeting (YDK) has begun, attended by President Ali Koç, board members, YDK President Şekip Mosturoğlu, and YDK members.
Speaking at the meeting, Burak Kızılhan shared significant updates on the stadium naming sponsorship.
Kızılhan announced that they’ve partnered with four leading global agencies for the stadium naming rights and stated, “Our current stadium naming sponsorship with Ülker will end this season. For the upcoming term, we’ve engaged four major global agencies. We’ve initiated collaboration talks with powerful brands worldwide. We aim to secure a naming sponsorship that will resonate globally.”
Meanwhile, Burak Kızılhan criticized Galatasaray over sponsorships. Here’s what Kızılhan said on the topic:
“I want to emphasize this: Fenerbahçe‘s sponsorship agreements are transparent, legal, and come from legitimate sources. Some of our rivals are quite hypocritical in this regard. One of our rivals created a major scandal by accepting a sponsorship from an illegal betting company on their jersey. This caused a public outcry, but, unfortunately, as always, when it came under scrutiny, they gave contradictory and inconsistent statements to deflect attention.
While attempting to cover up their scandals, they targeted our transparent and legal sponsorship agreement with Pasha, trying to manipulate the situation. This only highlighted their desperation once again. When they ran out of things to criticize about our deal, they went ahead and signed a sponsorship agreement with Pasha themselves.”
