Jose Mourinho shared his thoughts on the match during the post-game press conference.
José Mourinho’s Post-Match Confession: “It Was Hard to Manage”
Mourinho stated: “Congratulations to my players. They were fantastic. We made some defensive mistakes in the first half, but in the second half, we adjusted a few things and gained stability. We played our cards well, and my players truly delivered. Managing this game was difficult for me. We had missing players, players on yellow cards, and limited options for substitutions. Now, we’ll determine our fate at Kadıköy. We are in a positive position. We’re in the middle of the table, but first, we need to focus on the league.”
Continuing his remarks, Mourinho added: “At least one of their players should have seen a red card. We can say the referee let them off in that situation. Against us, however, he was very generous with his cards. Overall, though, I wouldn’t say the referee was bad; he was actually good.”
