Injury Crisis Hits Fenerbahçe: Three Players Forced Off Against Başakşehir
In Fenerbahçe's match against Başakşehir in the 16th week of the Süper Lig, three players were injured and had to leave the game.
In the first half, Fenerbahçe‘s Dominik Livakovic felt pain in his hamstring and, despite receiving treatment twice, was unable to continue playing. Livakovic was replaced by young goalkeeper Ertuğrul Çetin in the 32nd minute.
OGUZ AYDIN INJURED AS WELL
A further setback for Fenerbahçe came in the second half when in-form player Oğuz Aydın was unable to get up after a challenge. Oğuz Aydın signaled for a substitution and was assisted off the field by the medical team.
He was replaced by Saint-Maximin in the 55th minute.
BECAO CARRIED OFF THE FIELD
In the same match, Becao also sustained an injury. The experienced player had to leave the field on a stretcher. With no substitutions remaining, Fenerbahçe continued the game with 10 players.
