Irfan Can Kahveci: “We will move forward”
Fenerbahçe faced Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa Conference League. The first match of the quarter-finals ended 3-2 in favor of Olympiacos. The 120 minutes of the match in Kadıköy ended with Fenerbahçe leading 1-0, leading to penalties. Olympiacos won 3-2 on penalties, advancing to the next round.
After the match, Fenerbahçe player İrfan Can Kahveci made statements.
In his statement, İrfan Can Kahveci said, “We played one of our best matches, especially in the first half. We created chances. However, we couldn’t capitalize on them. We’re sad. Not having penalties drained us a lot. We have a match on Monday. We will move forward. We have a high chance of winning the championship. I believe in my teammates. I believe we will become champions in the league.”
