Fenerbahçe Honors the Great Leader: Atatürk’s Name Illuminates Ülker Stadium!
The project of inscribing the name of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the roof of the Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, one of Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç's election promises, has been completed.

The project, which Ali Koç mentioned during the general assembly meeting of the yellow-navy blue club this past June, has been finalized. The Fenerbahçe Club’s official website released the following statement:
“The project of inscribing the name of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, on the roof of the Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex, which was announced by our President Ali Y. Koç at the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting in June, has been completed. As part of the project, ‘Mustafa Kemal’ was inscribed on the roof of the Marathon Stand, and ‘Atatürk’ on the roof of the Fenerium Stand.”
“Following the laser marking and illumination processes for the Mustafa Kemal Atatürk inscription, the painting was carried out. The writing was applied using a special resin-containing flexible paint with high weather resistance on the membrane roof covering, executed by Tensaform.”
“The height of the letters was implemented as 8.5 meters for ‘Mustafa Kemal’ and 12 meters for ‘Atatürk.’ With great care taken in the painting process, the total writing and painting area of the project amounted to 2,500 square meters. This project has become one of the symbols of our club’s stance and devotion, which, throughout its history, has never strayed from the path of our leader Atatürk and has always stood unconditionally with the nation and the state.”
