Burak Kızılhan: “We expect TFF to take clear steps”
Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Kızılhan, in his speech at the High Council Board Meeting said, "The Turkish Football Federation, in its statement on July 15, 2023, announced that it had decided to establish a commission regarding the championships before 1959. Exactly 113 days have passed since this statement. We expect them to take clear steps" he said.
Fenerbahçe High Council Board Meeting was held at Fenerbahçe Sports Club Faruk Ilgaz Facilities.
Speaking at the meeting, Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Kızılhan said, “A 3-month period has passed in which we started the season in our team sports, ran from stadiums to arenas, were proud of the news from our Olympic athletes, and demonstrated our competitive identity as Turkey’s largest sports club. It is the one that sent the most athletes to the Olympics.” Our club has already received 5 quotas for the 2024 Paris Olympics. While Buse Naz Çakıroğlu, Hatice Akbaş and Samet Gümüş in boxing, Kuzey Tunçelli in swimming and Ersu Şaşma in athletics bought their Paris tickets, many of our athletes continue to work to get an Olympic quota. In addition, our Olympic athletes broke Turkish records in a 3-month period. “They broke it. Our Fenerbahçe continues to work, constantly working and producing non-stop,” he said.

Under normal circumstances, the federation of that day should have acted faster, unfortunately they came without seeing it by giving illegal answers. The facts that we explained with official documents and submitted to the TFF are obvious. It is a big fact that the arbitration application was rejected in the past. It is a lie. There is only one truth in this matter; those are the facts that will not be erased from history and our trophies in our museum. We expect TFF to take clear steps. We will follow every issue that will be established.
