Cenk Tosun Scores His First Goal for Fenerbahçe in a Friendly Against Zenit.
Fenerbahçe hosted Russian side Zenit in a friendly match during the international break. Fielding a squad comprised largely of reserve players, Fenerbahçe opened the scoring with a goal from Cenk Tosun. The experienced forward netted his first goal for the club following his transfer from Beşiktaş.
PLAYERS WITH LIMITED LEAGUE TIME STARTED
Head coach Jose Mourinho included five players who have had limited opportunities in the league in the starting lineup. İrfan Can Eğribayat, Levent Mercan, Oğuz Aydın, Bartuğ Elmaz, and Cenk Tosun all featured in the initial XI.

Fenerbahçe took the lead in the 20th minute through a well-crafted play. Dusan Tadic delivered an elegant pass to Cenk Tosun, who slotted the ball into the net from a tight angle on the right side of the box, making it 1-0.

TOSUN’S FIRST GOAL IN A FENERBAHÇE SHIRT
Since joining Fenerbahçe after his contract with Beşiktaş expired, Cenk Tosun has struggled for game time, appearing in just three league matches for a total of 33 minutes. Including cup and friendly games, he has featured in seven matches this season. Starting for the first time in the friendly against Zenit, Tosun seized the opportunity to make his mark, scoring his debut goal for the club.
