Talisca’s Agent Reveals Transfer Details: “He Always Dreamed of Fenerbahçe”
Fenerbahçe’s new signing, Anderson Talisca’s Turkish representative, Deniz Sarıtaç, shared insights into the Brazilian star’s transfer process. Sarıtaç also made a striking claim regarding Galatasaray’s involvement in the negotiations.

After long negotiations, Fenerbahçe successfully completed the Talisca transfer, signing the player to a 1.5-year contract. Speaking to Sabah, Talisca’s Turkish representative and former Fenerbahçe translator, Deniz Sarıtaç, detailed the transfer process:
“The negotiations lasted for three months. Fenerbahçe showed great interest, handling every aspect of the transfer professionally and patiently. It was quite a challenging deal, as he still had 1.5 years left on his contract with the Saudi club. Some people were already saying ‘congratulations’ three months ago, but the news came out too early. This was not a transfer that could be completed in just a week.”
Sarıtaç emphasized that Talisca had a strong desire to join Fenerbahçe from the start:
“Talisca was always very keen on coming to Fenerbahçe. From the very first moment, he started dreaming about it. The easiest part of this deal was convincing Talisca himself. Acun Ilıcalı also played a crucial role. He said, ‘We built a family relationship.’ The idea of returning to Europe excites him. He achieved success with Beşiktaş in the Champions League, and he wants to experience the same with Fenerbahçe.”
Regarding Galatasaray’s late involvement in the race, Sarıtaç revealed:
“Galatasaray stepped in during the last 10 days of the transfer process with a persistent approach. However, Fenerbahçe created such a warm atmosphere that a bond of friendship was formed. His agency, Carlos Leite, also took a firm stance. Galatasaray tried not just once, but twice. But Talisca never had any doubts.”
Sarıtaç also mentioned that Talisca turned down more lucrative offers:
“He developed a strong emotional connection with Fenerbahçe. We received three official offers from Saudi clubs and one from Qatar, all offering much higher wages than Fenerbahçe. Yet, he refused. Interestingly, Mourinho had wanted to sign Talisca for Manchester United after his time at Beşiktaş, but it didn’t materialize back then.”
Addressing criticism about Talisca’s rap music hobby, Sarıtaç defended the player:
“Talisca has taken great care of himself and arrived in top form. His sole focus is football. Rap music is his hobby and personal pleasure. Why is he criticized for that? Don’t people have hobbies? Can’t an engineer play the piano? He has loved rap music since childhood, but some act as if he’s going to leave for a concert on matchday!”
Lastly, Sarıtaç noted that Talisca is already familiar with Turkey and Fenerbahçe’s environment:
“He knows the stadium, where he will live, and the city. His former teammate, Cenk Tosun, is now at Fenerbahçe. Fellow Brazilians Fred, Diego Carlos, and Becao are also here. He immediately contacted everyone he worked with during his Beşiktaş days. He will have no problems settling in.”
